Death by pole vaulting?
Yesterday, the main character in my novel got shot with a bow and arrow. I didn't plan it, it just came out that way in the writing. My first Nano novel had a character who got hit by a javelin. I'm beginning to sense I have some sort of deep-rooted fear of track and field events.
Next year I bet I could do a lot of damage with a shotput.

Cheeky - no, but I wrote a story once where a murder mystery writer's dead characters came back for revenge.
ReplyDeleteheh heh ! I love it -- OOh! and have the dead character come back for revenge? Freaky - a couple of mine would have some horrible things to say to me!

ReplyDeleteI'm always surprised that judges don't get struck by javelins at these sports meetings.
ReplyDeleteLOL - It's surprising what characters do. You're doing so well - more than 30,000 ! You're getting there. I'm still in the 18,000 range and procrastinating.... AGAIN.
