At least I know they have manners

I guess being a mom to boys has taken its toll on me. The other day, I was sitting here at my computer and my two younger sons were playing behind me. I burped, just a tiny little, barely audible burp.

"What?" my six year old said.

"I didn't say anything. I burped." And then, because I live with boys and I know what amuses them, I burped again, just to demonstrate.

My poor son rolled his eyes and huffed, "Say 'Excuse me,' Mommy." He left the room, thoroughly disgusted with his rude mother.
