PPL - Diamante

Mid-month Every Month at PENSIEVE
Want this button?

This month's poetic form is the diamante. We're writing about either the great outdoors, or emotions. Hmmm...

Sun
Warmth, heat
Burning, shining, beating
Life's light, life's fuel
Soaking, drenching, filling
Wet, soft
Rain

Cat
Power, stealth
Stalking, creeping, pouncing
The predator, the prey
Running, hiding, dying
Tiny, dead
Mouse

(that was in honor of the "gift" my kitty brought me yesterday)

  10. Yaaaaaaaaeee~TWO entries this time!

Your first reminds me that I can like opposites--I love the sun, I love the rain...and I'm thankful for both. You've chosen words that describe each well, giving me reason to pause and enjoy the thoughts.

And your second? Hehe...LOVELOVELOVE it! Stealthy kitties...predator/prey. Just perfect! Wonder if the cat or the mouse would appreciate being "honored" in verse? Well, at least "we" can appreciate it!

Thanks, Jana! I always enjoy your poems each time :).
