Going west

Hubby has a business trip to go on soon, and since it's the week of our wedding anniversary, I decided that I would rather go with him than stay home with the boys. We are going to drive from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin one weekend, and back the next. I'm really looking forward to it - it's been ages since we've gone anywhere but amusement parks for vacay. Not that I don't love amusement parks, but there's so much more to see in our beautiful country.

Now, perhaps I am crazy for wanting to take such a trip with four kids in the car, one of whom is two and makes a lot of noise, but I do have a laptop that plays DVDs and an almost endless supply of Thomas the Tank Engine videos, so I think we're set.

So, if any of you, my blog friends, live somewhere along my route, let me know. I might drop in for coffee. Or to "accidentally" leave one of my kids with you for the week. Hehe.

  1. You look well prepared.

Unless you're going to make a slight detour to Birmingham, England, I can't see you dropping in to my place.

  6. Yahoooooo! I just found out that our village center sells tix to the Milwaukee Zoo for cheaper than admission at the park...if we find it is not raining on the day we plan to go I can buy us all tix here and we can save some $$$$$!

  7. P.S. No drop-offs or leaving children accidentally leaving children in my car...not a one...

  8. TKW - Awesome! Saving money is a good thing. And don't worry - my kids wouldn't want to be stuck with a bunch of ~girls~ (said with a turned up nose and sneery voice). ;)

  9. Oh! I might be on your way, depending on the route you take... Terre Haute, IN... on I-70...

I'll make sure to pack my car WAY FULL so no kids can be snuck into it! *giggle*
