You know what's really cool?

It is so amazing to watch my older two boys read. It's amazing because I'm the one who taught them.

I can't say enough good things about the K12 curriculum. In fact, if you're thinking of homeschooling from the start, you should buy their phonics program. It's fantastic. But at the end of the day, I'm the one who sat down with them and taught them how to read.

I tell you, homeschooling has its share of frustration. And there are days I want to chuck the whole thing. But the rewards can be so great, too. I just have to remember that on the days I feel like chucking it!
