Chris - no I never figured out what that thing was. I pulled it because it was taking over the pot!
Melissa - last year we had a whole tree full of fruit and the bugs got most of it, LOL! This year I've been spraying it, so maybe we'll actually get to eat some! I'm amazed because I usually kill any plant I touch!
Here's my first harvest of the year from our garden: seven lovely zucchini squash! I sliced and grilled one last night - mmmmmmmm!
It seems like kittens just grow on trees around here!

The same thing always happens to catalogs and magazines that enter our house. They are 2 and 1/2 and are still obssessed.
